Welfare and Safeguarding

British Fencing are currently checking that all registered clubs comply with their policy to have a named Welfare Officer, and a Safeguarding and Child Protection policy in place. At a time when mental health issues are at the forefront of today’s concerns it is only right that BDF highlights that it has a new welfare officer in Paul Marshall ([email protected]). Viv Mills also holds British Fencing’s welfare qualification ([email protected]). You can contact either of them with any concerns you may have regarding welfare issues.
