Welfare and Safeguarding

BDF adopted the British Fencing policy on Safeguarding and Child Protection in 2018. The policy is available to view on www.britishfencing.com.

We believe that collectively as an active and sporting community the welfare of children and adults at risk is everyone’s responsibility.  As part of our commitment as a National Governing Body, our current Welfare Official is Rick Rodgers. Please use the Contact Us form with dedicated field if you need to get in touch.

All registered clubs with British Fencing must have a named Welfare Officer, and a Safeguarding and Child Protection policy in place.
